Our politicians are tricky. They know if you are threaten with loss of services that you will cave into their demands for more taxes. But, the threat of loss of services is a mute point because they will cut education anyway. When they passed the lottery and said that it would add to the education budget they simply reduced the amount the budget plan for education contained and then said look how we helped education. The problem has never been a lack of revenue. It has always been run away spending. They can’t live with in their means because they think our money is theirs not ours.

There’s plenty of money for bullet trains to nowhere, for the college tuition and fees for illegal aliens, for government pensions that workers in the private sector can only dream of and for hidden slush funds in scores of state agencies, not to mention endless useless boards and commissions that pay the members 6 figure salaries for a few hours of their time every couple of months.

But according to these DemoNcrats we still gotta raise yer taxes!
