OMG! Imagine that. Billionaires who actually give a damn about something other than their bottom lines. Billionaires who see how unfairly stacked the current system is.

I will bet that these folks would be willing to pay a 75 percent tax rate if millionaires would pay 30 percent. But we can’t have millionaires pay their fair share, now can we? That would adequately fund the government that you are doing your best to destroy.

We already have a Fourth Branch of government. It’s called the 1 percent.

“This is what former politicians do who can’t go back to the private sector once they leave public office. Couple the attention-starved politicians with bored billionaires and you get groups like the Think Long Committee and California Forward.” Great analysis.

And the deluded billionaires actually thought they could create a Fourth Branch of Government. As if the other three would allow that. The state and U.S. Supreme Courts would have tossed that faster than you can say “separation of powers.”

And if these billionaires want to increase taxes, how about taxing their entire wealth 100%.
