Occupy Oakland Eviction Was Planned
Katy Grimes: Oakland Mayor Jean Quan, admitted today that the overnight evictions of the Occupy movements across the country were well-coordinated with Mayors of other cities. After marching with the protestors, then ordering police to roust the protestors’ encampments, then allowing protestors back into the park, Quan appears conflicted with her role as Mayor. In an interview, Quan appears to let it slip that she was on a conference call with 18 other city leaders not long before the raids broke up many Occupy protest encampments across the country, Bloomberg News reported. During an audio interview, Quan said that she was on the conference call with the National Conference of Mayors when the evictions were discussed. The evictions are necessary because “the Occupy Wall Street movement itself is having a hard time controlling the encampments. We moved a lot of the homeless, who were half of the camp,” Quan said. The political part of the movement will be looking for private space, Quan added. “The movement is more than the encampments.” Despite her heart being with the movement, it appears that Quan has received many complaints from downtown business tenants, and small, privately owned businesses, about the protestors. Apparently people who need to do business in the downtown area are protesting the protestors, and consequently, the businesses. But Quan claimed the city’s number-one concern is safety. She doesn’t say whose safety. Liberal Mayors sympathetic to the movement have created this mess. By allowing personal political agendas to take precedence over the need for city leadership, Quan and other Mayors have shirked the responsibility expected of them, and owed to the people and businesses located in those cities. However, it appears that Quan will be held accountable. The protests apparently were the final straw before the recall effort against her was launched. “After nearly a year in office she has exhibited no leadership or insight to develop and implement a sustainable solution to our growing unemployment and depressed economic development,” the recall document states, reported Oakland North. “We have no confidence in her ability to lead, listen or collaborate.” NOV. 15, 2011

Quan is a political hack just like all the rest of them are. They do what they’re told. There is every reason to opine that the Occupy crackdowns were centrally organized by the Feds and DHS. These are the same clowns who practically ordered Mubarak in Egypt to allow thousands and thousands of angry protesters to assemble 24/7 at Tahrir Square. Watch the videos of Hillary and Obama. Classic. Both said that the Egyptian people had a human right to protest the injustice which is deemed essential in a democracy. Go watch the videos for yourself. Now in America those same phonies are forcing American protesters to disband and even denying media access when the cops go in and do their raids!
Reality is stranger than fiction at times. How could you even make this crap up???
I wonder how happy the Democratic Party will be when the OWS rabble show
up at their convention next summer? Tents on the lawns, all manner of bad
behavior mixed with calls for who knows what. A rewind of 1968. Good stuff.
And if OWS shows up at the Republican convention? More of the same.
All of this will likely harden the thought among conservatives and independents that a
full and complete house cleaning in Congress and White house will be necessary.
