So you think there are too many public employees (even though California has far less than average), and that they “interfere” with you (which suggests some sort of grudge on your part), and they are paid too much (which suggests jealousy). If not hate, that sure sounds like extreme dislike. Also, the idea that federal employees are paid twice as much as people doing the same job in the private sector is simply false. That data is based on all federal employees vs. all private-sector employees, without matching job to job. Quoting it is misleading and intended to provoke an emotional reaction. In short, it’s propaganda.

David: I don’t hate public employees. I just think there are far too many of them for society to support, they interfere too much in our lives, and their pay and compensation is much higher than that for equivalent jobs in the public sector (twice as high for federall employees). The country is collapsing now from the weight of too much government.

As to Buffett, like too many (but certainly not all) rich folks, he uses his money to influence government to enrich himself.

This is confusing. Having read your blog before, I thought I was supposed to hate public employees. Now I am supposed to hate Warren Buffett? Make up your minds.
