Its finances are controlled by the New York bond houses that hold the markers on the state's credit. Something similar is happening to Greece. The German banks own the credit on the Athens government, which also maxed out its loans. Now the alternative is massive government cuts or bankruptcy. I know she does not support California going it alone. But when I heard her on Chris Reed's show, she supported it at the national level. I am just curious if she has re-thought her position on this in the wake of climate gate.
