		<description>Trying hard not to use the &quot;D&quot; word, the great Recession has brought substantial pain to CA. However the poor choices in CA have increased our misery. 

Taxes and fees can not possibly be raised sufficiently to pay for the size of California&#039; cities, counties and state government. 

Time to reduce the scope of services, privatize all but police and reduce taxes. Revenue is not the problem. The problem is too much spending.</description>

		<description>Somebody should tell Sacto that historically tax rate increases ALWAYS mean tax revenue decreases. What California needs is a MUCH reduced tax rate across the board to lure new businesses and jobs and allow expansion of existing businesses and jobs.
More people/companies paying less tax individually is the answer.</description>
