After all, didn’t the GOP endorse “Republican” Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2006, after he brought in Susan Kennedy as his chief of staff, after he signed AB32, after he refused to help down-ticket Republicans (such as Tom McClintock, running for Lt. Gov.), after he flip-flopped on just about everything?

The GOP, if it wants to thrive, needs to take McClintock and Ron Paul as models: advancing small-government principles actually does win elections. And it’s the right thing to do.
