					<description><![CDATA[The increase in the jobs gap also corresponds to the year I had my kidney stone removed...so I don&#039;t know that we can pin the change on any one legislative bill (or my kidney stone).  However, I do think it&#039;s fair to say that California does a much worse job of employing workers than the U.S. as a whole.  But maybe that&#039;s not a problem since we also spend a lot more per person on welfare and entitlement programs than nearly any other state.

Yeah, we got a mess, and I have no idea how we will ever clean it up.]]></description>
